 This year, our college celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 26, as September 5 was a holiday. The event was a wonderful occasion to express our love, respect, and gratitude to all our teachers who guide and inspire us every day. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp by our Principal, Dr. Santhosh Kumar Sir, along with other respected faculty members. The glow of the lamp symbolized the light of knowledge and wisdom that teachers bring into our lives. During the program, several teachers shared their personal experiences and reflections on the journey of teaching.   On September 16, the students of Natural Science and Physical Science came together to organize an inspiring awareness class on ozone depletion – its causes, consequences, and preventive measures. The programme aimed to spread knowledge and responsibility towards protecting our planet. The event began at 10:00 AM with a solemn prayer. In the absence of our Principal, Parvathy Ma’am (Assistant Professor, Department of Malayalam) inaugurated the session with motivating words. Jobi Sir (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce) also addressed the gathering and shared his valuable insights on environmental conservation.   “A Festival of Unity, Tradition, and Joy” On 27th August, we celebrated the festival of Onam with great joy and enthusiasm under the name “Thimiruthom.” The day was filled with cultural programs, delicious food, and endless laughter, making it a memorable occasion for everyone.  The celebration began with two melodious group songs, setting a festive and cheerful mood. This was followed by the graceful Thiruvathira performance, which reflected the beauty of Kerala’s tradition and culture. After the cultural events, everyone gathered to enjoy the grand Onam Sadhya, served on banana leaves, which brought the true flavor of the festival. The variety of dishes made the feast both delightful and satisfying. Post-lunch, we had exciting games that filled the air with fun and laughter.
