 A Day Wrapped in Joy – Christmas Celebration 2025 The B.Ed. College joyfully celebrated Christmas on 23rd December with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. Students and teachers came together to share the happiness and warmth of the Christmas season, making the occasion truly special. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the arrival of Santa Claus added colour and excitement to the celebration. A variety of cultural programmes such as Christmas songs, dances, skits, and fun games were presented, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere throughout the programme. The celebration highlighted the true values of Christmas—love, sharing, peace, and unity. Both students and teachers actively participated in the events, which strengthened mutual bonding and togetherness. Overall, the Christmas celebration was a joyful and heart-warming experience that filled the campus with festive cheer and created lasting memories for the entire college community.

 First Semester B.Ed Field Trip – Learning Beyond the Classroom As part of the First Semester B.Ed curriculum, MEACT B.Ed College, Ayur organized an educational field trip on 18th December to provide student teachers with experiential learning opportunities related to their optional subjects. The field trip was planned according to different subject options to ensure meaningful academic exposure. Students of English, Malayalam, and Social Science optionals visited the Chithral Jain Temple Marthandam, where they gained insights into history, culture, architecture, and heritage. Students of the Physical Science optional visited the Thiruvananthapuram Planetarium, which helped them understand scientific concepts related to astronomy and space science through visual presentations and demonstrations.   Workshop on SUPW – Learning Through Productive Work As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a Workshop on SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) was organized to provide student teachers with practical and skill-oriented learning experiences. The workshop was guided by Art Sir, Harilal Krishnan Sir, whose clear instructions and demonstrations enabled students to understand the activities effectively. The workshop mainly focused on eco-friendly practices, with student teachers actively engaging in banana leaf plate making and paper bag making. These activities highlighted the significance of sustainability and promoted the use of natural and biodegradable materials as alternatives to plastic. Through this hands-on experience, student teachers enhanced their creativity, manual skills, cooperation, and environmental awareness.
