Film Festival – A Cinematic Learning Experience


The English Department of MEACT B.Ed College, Ayur successfully organized a Film Festival on 2nd December under the efficient coordination of Soumya Ma’am. The event was planned and executed by the nine student teachers of the English department, making it a collaborative and enriching academic experience.


The programme was formally inaugurated by our respected Principal, Santhosh Kumar Sir, who appreciated the initiative of the English department in promoting learning through visual media. The film screening commenced at 12:00 PM, generating great enthusiasm among the students.



The film chosen for the festival was “Frankenstein”, which offered valuable literary and cinematic insights. The screening helped students understand the text beyond the confines of the classroom, making the learning process engaging and meaningful.


To enhance the festive ambience, the Englishianzzzz arranged a food counter with snacks, popcorn, and refreshments, providing a complete theatre-like experience. The thoughtful arrangement added excitement and enjoyment to the programme.


Overall, the Film Festival was a joyful and enriching event that beautifully blended education with entertainment. It encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a deeper appreciation of literature through cinema, making it a memorable success for all participants.

 Today, our Manjappara B.Ed college, Ayur  conducted a workshop on blog creation , handled by Dhanya Miss. The session was very informative and engaging, giving us both theoretical and practical knowledge about blogs.
