Workshop on Blog Creation

 Today, our Manjappara B.Ed college, Ayur  conducted a workshop on blog creation , handled by Dhanya Miss. The session was very informative and engaging, giving us both theoretical and practical knowledge about blogs.

What We Learned

  • Introduction to Blogs

   Dhanya Miss started the session by explaining "what a blog is" and its importance in today’s digital world. She also introduced us to the different types of blogs such as personal blogs, business blogs, educational blogs, fashion blogs, and more.

  • Structure of a Blog

   We were taught about the basic structure of a blog, which includes a title, introduction, body, conclusion, and visuals that make the content engaging.

  • Introduction to EduBlog

   She then introduced "EduBlog", a platform specifically useful for teachers and students. She highlighted its uses, advantages, and also some disadvantages so that we could have a balanced understanding.

Advantages for Teachers - Easy to share lessons, assignments, and resources with students.

 Advantages for Students - A creative space to share their ideas, improve writing skills, and actively participate in discussions.

 Disadvantages - Requires internet access and regular maintenance, which might be a challenge for some.

  • Hands-On Session: Creating a Blog

   After the theoretical part, she guided us step by step on "how to create and start a blog'. From "downloading the Blogger app" to "publishing the first post", she explained every procedure in detail.

  • Creating a Class Blog

   Finally, Dhanya Miss showed us how to create a class blog and even helped students make and publish their own blogs. This interactive session made the workshop more effective and memorable.

The workshop was highly useful and practical . It not only gave us the knowledge about blogging but also the confidence to create our own blogs. Dhanya Miss’s clear explanation and guidance made the session truly effective.
