First Semester B.Ed Field Trip – Learning Beyond the Classroom


As part of the First Semester B.Ed curriculum, MEACT B.Ed College, Ayur organized an educational field trip on 18th December to provide student teachers with experiential learning opportunities related to their optional subjects.


The field trip was planned according to different subject options to ensure meaningful academic exposure. Students of English, Malayalam, and Social Science optionals visited the Chithral Jain Temple Marthandam, where they gained insights into history, culture, architecture, and heritage.





Students of the Physical Science optional visited the Thiruvananthapuram Planetarium, which helped them understand scientific concepts related to astronomy and space science through visual presentations and demonstrations. And also we visited there and explore there.

The Natural Science optional students visited the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, where they observed biodiversity, wildlife conservation methods, and the importance of protecting the natural environment.And also we visited there and explore there.


Students of the Commerce optional visited Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram, gaining practical exposure to modern retail management, marketing strategies, and business operations. And also we visited there and explore there.


The field trip was both educational and enjoyable, offering students a chance to learn through direct observation and experience. It enhanced subject knowledge, encouraged curiosity, and strengthened peer interaction.


Overall, the First Semester B.Ed Field Trip was a memorable and enriching experience that successfully connected theoretical learning with real-world understanding..
