International Women's Day Celebration at MEACT B.Ed. College 🪷

MEACT B.Ed. College, Ayur, celebrated International Women's Day on 9 March 2026 under the leadership of the SAHYA College Union. The programme, held in the Seminar Hall, was organised to acknowledge the contributions of women and to create awareness about the values of equality, dignity, and empowerment.




The event was formally inaugurated by Shri Santhosh Kumar, Principal of MEACT B.Ed. College. In his address, he emphasised the need to appreciate the role of women in every sphere of life and encouraged students to uphold respect and equal opportunities for all.

The celebration featured a variety of entertaining and engaging activities, including games, a Singer Identification Game, and a Mehendi Fest. Students participated wholeheartedly, adding colour and excitement to the occasion and making the programme a joyful experience.

The Women's Day celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the courage, determination, and accomplishments of women. It inspired everyone present to continue promoting women's empowerment and to work towards a more just and inclusive society. 🌸

  Creating Awareness, Spreading Positivity, and Building a Ragging-Free Campus The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared 12th–18th August 2025 as "Anti-Ragging Week" across India, encouraging institutions to raise awareness and ensure a safe and inclusive campus atmosphere.
