Insightful Seminar on Child Psychology at MEACT B.Ed College👦👧

A seminar on Child Psychology was conducted at MEACT B.Ed College on March 5, 2026, with the aim of helping B.Ed trainees understand children's mental processes and behaviour in educational contexts. The session was led by Ms. Safeela Vahid, an external resource person with expertise in the field.



Throughout the session, the speaker highlighted the significance of understanding learners' emotions, developmental stages, and individual differences. By connecting psychological theories with real classroom experiences, she enabled the students to view teaching from a child-centred perspective.


The programme also included an interactive discussion in which students actively engaged with the resource person. Their questions and reflections made the session more participative and enriched the learning experience for everyone present.


The seminar proved to be an eye-opening and rewarding experience. It broadened our understanding of children's psychology and reinforced the idea that an effective teacher is one who understands not only what students learn but also how they think, feel, and develop.
