As part of the academic activities of MEACT B.Ed. College, an educational tour to Mysore and Belur was organised from 15 to 18 April 2026. The tour provided student teachers with an opportunity to step outside the classroom, experience new places, and enjoy moments of togetherness.


The journey commenced on 15 April 2026, when students gathered at the college campus with great enthusiasm. After the preliminary arrangements, the group departed from the college at 2:00 p.m. The journey itself became an enjoyable experience as students engaged in singing, games, conversations, and other recreational activities throughout the night.


The group arrived in Mysore on 16 April and visited several places of interest, including the Car Museum, Mysore Palace, and a historic church. These visits enabled the students to appreciate the architectural beauty and cultural importance of the sites while also enjoying time with their peers and teachers.


On 17 April, the tour continued to Belur, renowned for its historical heritage and scenic beauty. The visit offered an enriching experience as students explored the surroundings, learned about the region's cultural significance, and participated in various group activities. The day strengthened friendships and created many joyful memories.


The return journey began on 18 April, and the group reached MEACT B.Ed. College safely. The educational tour concluded with a sense of happiness and fulfilment, leaving every participant with unforgettable experiences, cherished friendships, and memories that will remain a special part of our B.Ed. journey.

Workshop on SUPW

  Workshop on SUPW – Learning Through Productive Work As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a Workshop on SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) was organized to provide student teachers with practical and skill-oriented learning experiences. The workshop was guided by Art Sir, Harilal Krishnan Sir, whose clear instructions and demonstrations enabled students to understand the activities effectively. The workshop mainly focused on eco-friendly practices, with student teachers actively engaging in banana leaf plate making and paper bag making. These activities highlighted the significance of sustainability and promoted the use of natural and biodegradable materials as alternatives to plastic. Through this hands-on experience, student teachers enhanced their creativity, manual skills, cooperation, and environmental awareness. Capacity Building Programme 2 FOOD FEST

 Eatopia – A Fest of Flavours and Creativity As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a lively Food Fest titled “Eatopia” was successfully organized on 11th November at MEACT B.Ed College, Ayur. The programme was efficiently coordinated by Sai Miss, whose careful planning and guidance ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The Food Fest was formally inaugurated by our respected Principal, Santhosh Sir, who appreciated the initiative taken by the student teachers and encouraged such innovative and experiential learning activities. A total of nine teams participated enthusiastically in the fest. Each team set up food stalls based on unique themes, presenting a wide variety of dishes. The stalls were attractively decorated, highlighting the creativity, teamwork, and artistic skills of the students.
